Kate and Mobius
The sunrise was a vibrant glow, a radiant gold - it stretched outward and onward, seemingly petals that just went forever, and when Mobius was awakened he was confident that they wouldn't have to deal with a very bad dog infestation. Not any longer - and trust him, he was relieved about that.
Sharon had gotten up and went to the feast, following the tolls of bells - Mobius planned to head there too but he wanted to make sure everything was still good and secure at the house, plus maybe do some more mending and repair since they hadn't had a chance to the past couple of days and their house still needed a bit of work. But then he was off, falling prey to the promises of feast food the way everyone else likely would - what could he say, those dumplings had been good the last time.
"Well, he's a fellow who knows what he likes," Mobius observed about the dog, who had clearly zoned in on pizza. "Can't blame him, I guess."
