"I don't know if they'd be rude, but it wouldn't hurt to ask her any questions you might have, Ed." Lucy didn't bother to hide her curious nature, but she hadn't spoken to the girl yet. "I think she's friends with Caspian?" Lucy noticed the pair speaking and smiling like friends.
"Perhaps it's good we can lay a few traps and not worry we're hurting those who can converse with us." She noticed how stiffly her brother stood and a worry line crossed her face. "Is your knee still sore, Ed?" Unlike her brother, Lucy took full advantage of the feast, because she couldn't ignore her hunger.
"We just chatted about food and pie. He seems okay? I don't think he and I will be friends, but we didn't argue or cause animosity between us." Su might charm with her words and looks, but Lucy could still be nice and friendly. "He may have been a bit judgmental about my sardines, but overall I didn't cause more problems."
