"It's okay," he murmured, leaning his head down to rest against her forehead before pulling her in close to him. "I'm okay now." He didn't want to admit that he was certain he'd been dying just moments before. Something had healed him - he didn't know what - but apparently it hadn't seen fit to mend his shirt.
Thoughts of impropriety had been forgotten in the moment of their reunion.
