Kol saw the relief on her face and he was relieved himself at the sight. He knew it wasn't an ideal answer, but if it provided her comfort, that was that mattered to Kol.
The vampire offered Davina an affectionate smile. "Thank you, darling." Being honest was the best policy in any relationship. While theirs was far from perfect, with both of them trying, it would only make it stronger.
Kol nodded. "We can't. I don't know if I would feel more comfortable, but, I haven't tasted your blood since that night and I would like to keep it that way." His fingers tucked a piece of hair behind her ear. "I would never hurt you like that again. Perhaps, some point in the future, I will feel better about it, but right now, I think it is best to keep it this way."
The vampire wasn't a fan of Davina sharing her blood with anyone, but Hayley and Hope were family. If she was going to share it with anyone outside of Kol, those were the two best choices. "I think that would be okay, love. As long as you are comfortable with it."
