Kol's expression sobered. "There is more I should tell you, but I don't want to overwhelm you either. When you're ready, I can tell you more or, if you would prefer, I will not say anything else." He didn't want to overwhelm her with too much right now. She seemed to be in a better mood and Kol didn't want to ruin that. However, he also didn't want to lie to her either. She deserved to know the truth.
"We settle in San Francisco." The west coast was warm, bright, and everything New Orleans was not at the time. Plus, it was far from the danger that the Bayou had in spades.
"And you certainly won't hear any arguments from me, love." Even without her saying that, Kol didn't plan on venturing too far from his future wife.
Kol nodded. "I'm positive he wouldn't. We'll find our own space. There has to be a house around here somewhere that no one has claimed yet."
