Nina nodded. "Probably you're correct." The girl had to mean something to someone.
She quickly read the first page when Kaz finished. "What a tragic story." The Grisha definitely didn't plan on venturing into the water at this point.
She didn't mean to snap at the ghost. At all. But, nobody could ever accuse Nina of keeping quiet. Nina quickly followed Kaz as they headed for the stairs. The heartrender didn't bother with her powers at the moment, as they'd be no good.
When they got outside, the first thing Nina did was slam the door behind them. Her second action involved apologizing. "I should not have antagonized the ghost. I'm sorry." She shuddered.
