PREMISE

WARNING: Spoilers through Episode "Five Years Gone."

The world is broken after the explosion of New York City, and people are afraid. Heroes are hunted and killed by a government that fears them. Those alive are forced to hide in order to survive, and continue running when discovered.

Sylar's attempt to kill Claire is stopped at the last second by Peter Petrelli, who proceeds to fight Sylar until he goes invisible and runs out of the mansion. Now, a reluctant leader, he must gather Heroes to defeat the villain who controls the United States under Nathan's face. They all react different--some reluctant, some violently, some eagerly--but Peter Petrelli knows he can not defeat Sylar alone, so he continues to gather forces.
