elle bishop ([info]notmyfirstday) wrote in [info]stringtheory,
She wasn't expecting it, despite having brought out Evelyn. She slammed against the wall, the plaster almost cracking from the weight that was shoved into it. She struggled, but his gravitational ability was too power that she couldn't even activate her own ability to stop him.

Yet, that didn't even matter. The words that came next were so horrible and cruel that being unable to breathe seemed easier to take. She couldn't say anything, couldn't argue over what he was saying to her as her throat was being forcefully pushed into - the strain on her face mixed in with the pain she felt.

The black hole lifted and it expanded, it consumed her entirely at the last words uttered. She closed her eyes, being unable to look at him from how badly it hurt - how much it felt like her heart was going to just give out so easily. She didn't want to believe that he was telling her this, that this was all just a dream and not some hellish nightmare.

Tell me I'm the only one.

You're the only one. You'll always be the only one.

"Adam-" His name was spoken in the mixture of her emotions all colliding and being ripped apart all at once in a flurry. The oxygen in her lungs were completely cut off, her eyes fluttering closed as she tried to keep herself from passing out.
