His reaction was violent. He used Simon's gravity ability to throw her up against the ceiling, the power holding her there so tightly breathing would be difficult. Adam kept one hand held out towards her to keep her there, and glared up into those blue eyes of her. "Don't you ever say her name again!" he yelled through gritted teeth.
"You? You're nothing more than a three minute fuck," Adam told her darkly. "There is no way you could ever make me feel anything but electric, so get it out of your overly blonde head right now. And she's the only thing that's saving your sad, sad life at the moment." Because Evelyn did tend to frown on his killing--especially when it was pointless.
