"I don't really know." He shrugged his shoulders, looked away. He wasn't lying, exactly. He didn't remember when his birthday was, and he wasn't really sure how many years it had been since he had moved to the capital, to his new life and job. But he could have guessed, and the answer would have been quite a bit different from what he appeared.
"I'm not quite as young as I look! Really! I'm big!" he said, in his best protesting-kid voice.
