WHO: Tamsin & Bo WHEN: April 19, afternoon WHERE: The Rabbit Hole WHAT: Shocking realization that the other is in Storybrooke too. RATING: TBD STATUS: Closed/Ongoing
Sometimes, when Tamsin was wiping down the counters, she found herself longing for the days when chasing bad guys was her "job". Of course, working as a detective as a way to help promote camaraderie between the dark and light fae wasn't exactly like the technical definition of work. She got paid, but it wasn't about the money. Money wasn't exactly that important where she'd come from. She had it, however, so maybe that was just her view. Whatever the case, she didn't work because she had to. She worked because she liked to. It kept her mind sharp, it kept her from thinking too long about all the drama in her valkyrie life, and best of all she got to beat idiots on a daily basis.
Here in Storybrooke, working was more of a necessity. She didn't have access to the resources she'd had back home. No Morrigan to help fund her adventures. No deals to be struck for what she needed or wanted. Working here was more of the other side of the coin, and Tamsin wasn't sure she liked how things had flipped. She supposed it could be worse, though. Nobody was after her here. She didn't have a debt to a wanderer that compromised the first friends she had ever had in her lives. She wasn't constantly battling threats of Apocalypse and a series of other dangers either. It was relatively....normal.
Tamsin was far from the type of person suited for normal, however. Her hand gave a frustrated swipe before she tossed the rag to the floor and informed her manager she was going on a break. Answering to someone so non-descript didn't sit well with Tamsin, but there really wasn't much of a choice. Moving to one of the back tables, she took a seat, figuring a drink was in order to lift her suddenly dour spirits. She'd been warned about drinking on the job, of course, but Tam didn't care. This was her break.
