Who: Klaus and Elena What: Life together When: Now Where: Their house Status: In progress Rating: TBD
Klaus had been surprisingly lenient with Elena after the deal they'd struck. She wasn't confined to the house, was free to come and go as she pleased, so long as she didn't question him. As long as she was there when he wanted her to be. It really could have been a lot worse. And, as much as she didn't want to get used to the arrangement, she was.
She'd decided to go for a walk, as she did most afternoons, familiarizing herself with the town and its layout, nodding in passing to the other people out and about. She was curious about the different versions of herself, especially the one with children, but Elena couldn't quite bring herself to go talk to them. Not yet though she wouldn't be able to keep her curiosity in check much longer.
Letting herself back into the house, cheeks pink from the chilly spring air, Elena headed for the kitchen. She'd stopped to get dinner. Burger and fries had seemed appealing. And, even if it wasn't The Grill, Granny's still was a close enough approximation. So, unwinding her scarf and shrugging off her coat, she sat down for her all-American dinner.
