Clary sat under a tree in the park, on a blanket. She had some books surrounding her, and she was trying to read. She had just been to the library. Clary had been thinking a lot about people not believing her when she said she was Clary. She didn't know why people couldn't just believe her, even if she didn't look like the Clary that they knew. Clary had been here long enough that she knew that anything was possible. The new ones from her world that showed up she could get why they didn't think she was Clary, but for people that had been there for awhile it was something they should at least try and consider.
Casting her glance around the park, she wondered if she was ever going to get used to this place. New York was her home, and this place was such a far cry from New York. Not to mention, her Simon wasn't here. She'd never had to be away from him this long. Brushing her hand through her hair, she wondered if he would ever show up. Apparently there were lots of her mother here, too, but none of them had really spoken to her. Luke had, but she knew that he was someone else's Luke, so it wasn't necessarily the same.
Magnus had spoken to her, but she wasn't sure that he liked her. Clary sighed and tried to turn her attention back to the book on her lap. She had planned to go back to the Institute when she was finished, but she hadn't wanted to go back just yet. Clary wasn't in the mood to see any of the many Jaces that were there. She wondered if she was ever going to make any friends here.
