Who: Dean Winchester and OTA When: 01/18/17 What: breakfast at Granny's Where: Granny's Warnings: None anticipated, other than Dean's hell angst
Dean had needed to get out of the house, and so he'd decided to go to Granny's. He had barely slept a wink, he'd been having nightmares about Hell again. Dean still hadn't told Sammy the whole story again, he wasn't sure he could get through it. He knew there was an older version of Sam in town that would know, but he'd been trying to steer clear of him because he didn't want to know his future. Dean wasn't sure he could take that. It was just something that he knew he couldn't handle right now. Not with all of what he was feeling.
It was nice that his mom was there though. Dean had actually met her at this age once, Cas had sent him back in time. Dean had been surprised that time travel was a real thing. He didn't know how anyone could be upset that their mother who was dead at home was back. Dean knew the older version of himself was upset about that, but he hadn't really bothered to find out more, because he didn't really want to know why.
Dean got himself to Granny's, wishing it wasn't so cold, and got inside, grabbing himself a booth. Someone came and took his order, he ordered his favorite, eggs, bacon, toast, and hash browns. When the waitress had gone, Dean opened up the horror novel he'd brought with him, with not as much hunting going on he could finally catch up on some reading.
