Who: Roswellains + any plus ones they want to bring.
What: The best wedding reception Christmas party that anyone has ever seen.
Where: Evans house
When: Christmas Eve
Warnings: Dentist inducing sweetness from the bride and groom and others.
Note: Tag as you want! There is a comment section for both the reception and Christmas party. Those characters with little ones, there is a play room right off of the family room to utilized if they wish. See the ( slightly outdated because some people have moved out ) house lay out in my journal if you need to.
Isabel and Alex's wedding had been gone off without a hitch. No one, alien or otherwise, got in the way of them becoming Mr and Mrs Whitman. Everyone clapped and cheered as they shared in the kiss the sealed it all and the two of them were nothing but smiles as they pulled away.
After the wedding, Liz sent Kelly and Dagny to the house ahead of everyone else to make sure everything was set for the reception. The original location had been Claudia's Kitchen but it seemed more fitting to have it at the Evans house so it could double as a Christmas party. Her house was more than big enough to hold everyone and then some. Isabella getting fussy as she sat in her carrier was a sign that the group needed to be done with pictures at the church so they all headed to the house, which was decorated like a Christmas wonderland, a fitting setting for the Christmas Nazi to have her reception.
In the great room downstairs, there are two tables for gifts; one for the bride and groom, one for the Secret Santa exchange that would be happening later that night. Upstairs on the main floor, the kitchen is fill with the smell of the food catered by The Dragonfly Inn. Alex suggested they go outside of Claudia's Kitchen so Liz and Maria didn't have to stress about the food and just enjoy the night. The next room over, the dining room, housed the centerpieces of the evening; a wedding cake and a tree tower of cupcakes. True to the bride's unique taste buds, the wedding cake was chocolate and Tabasco while the cupcakes were a variety of holiday flavors fit for the humans attending.
Everyone was given free reign of the house, leaving the preteens and teenagers access to the recreation area if they were to get bored. Bedrooms, however, were off limits so no one could escape to them except the little ones of the family, who would be using them to sleep when it came to be bed time.
