Who: Bartons + dates + Natasha Romanoff
What: Labor Day family dinner
Where: Barton residence
When: Sunday evening/night
Notes: At the parents house, PG-13 at most (with only two dates, that shouldn't be an issue). Multiple threads are fine, even though it's family, it's a big family. I'm turning off notifications on the main thread post, but I will check back in case there is something directed at one of my chars (Laura, Elena, Natasha), you're welcome to poke me too.
Laura was still not used to her kids being old enough to live on their own and they were steadily all moving out. Of course there were a couple here at the age she was used to, but most of them were teenagers. While she understood why Cooper didn't come around much, she still missed him and Nate. Now she was facing the possibility of Lila moving out. She feared that the other Cooper--the new one--might decide to move out next.
Clint had been the one to suggest getting them together for a family dinner and Laura had decided that she could use the holiday weekend as an excuse. Clint was on the grill while Laura had made a couple of different salad options. She also made sure--by Pietro Jr.'s suggestion--that there were vegetarian options and enough for more than one person in case there was anyone else who didn't eat meat.
