"Yeah, I'll do that. They'll understand," Rayne reassured him. It may have been a tiny lie - yes her family understood that she wanted and needed to be there for Dash, but she'd also promised she'd be back before it got too late. While she rarely - if ever - broke promises, this was one she was more than willing to break. Dash was too important. His friends were too important to him for her to let him stay there without her, even if he did have other friends to support him.
"I'll help you get in the room, any way I can too. Like distract them or something by talking to the nurses," she told him, leaning close as she lowered her voice. "And if that doesn't work, I can do magic to cause a distraction." That in itself was a testament to how much she cared. Ever since she'd been taken by Eva she'd struggled with magic, shying away from using it. But it was a way she could help.
