Who: Jace Herondale & OTA When: 07/13/16 Where: streets of Storybrooke What: investigating Warnings: None anticipated, other than Jace's ego
Jace walked through the town of Storybrooke, wondering what was going to happen in this town. He knew that there had to be something. After all, there was an Institute here. Jace hadn't taken the time to go and enroll, or whatever, but he knew it was there. He was wondering what was going to happen with Clary, too. He was wondering if he would really be able to keep his promise of not hurting her. He wasn't going to get bored of her, like she seemed to think, but he wasn't exactly good at not hurting girls. Jace hadn't ever had a real girlfriend before. He almost didn't know what to do with one.
He stopped at Any Given Sundae and got himself a pistachio ice cream cone, and then walked back out into the sunshine. He had to admit, it was nice here. Idyllic. Jace didn't do so well with idyllic. He'd never had that before. He'd never really been in the States. He'd grown up in Idris. It was all he knew. Jace knew nothing about pretending to be a mundane. Although with that Magna woman just announcing she was the High Warlock, which of course she wasn't, that was Magnus Bane or some shit, maybe he didn't have to pretend to be a mundane.
Licking his cone, he glanced around at the street he was on. This town was almost too good to be true. It was like it was right out of a well, a storybook. Jace didn't know how anyone could live like this all the time. He much preferred Idris. Of course, he had no chance of going back there, at least, not that he could control. He wondered if he'd ever get to see it again.
