Sister, Sister

Where: Granny's Diner
When: Directly after arriving.
Warning: None yet?
Status: Open, in progress
Astoria smoothed the imaginary wrinkles from the front of her white button down, inhaling slowly. She held her breath and counted to four before exhaling. She was nervous. She felt silly for feeling that way- it was Daphne. It was her sister. It was supposed to be Daphne. Astoria still wasn't entirely convinced this was real. It was icy back home, and she had stepped outside to take a breath. Maybe she slipped and hit her head. Maybe this was her unconsciously trying to escape. Or maybe it was real. It wasn't entirely outside the realm if possibility. Stranger things had happened.
The door opened and Astoria looked up, raising her hand to catch Daphne's attention. Her wrist was red, the telling sign she had been nervously pinching it under the the table before her sister's arrival. For a moment Astoria didn't say anything, instead opting to study the woman before her. When she was somewhat satisfied it was her sister, she smiled tightly, "You know, I never would have imagined either of us to be in such a...quaint... establishment. Granny's Diner?" She scoffed lightly and teased, "Mother would be beside herself. What if someone were to see?"
Astoria would be lying if she said she would rather have a bank account similar to the Weasley's- she enjoyed the perks and comfort too much. However, having an expensive price tag attached to every single thing was not a requirement for her, unlike her parents. Her gaze landed on her sister, "This reminds me of that place we used to go to when no one was home."
