As they walked up to the front of their house, Bellamy almost couldn't be bothered to make it the final steps. Relief weighed heavy, as did his own exhaustion. He staggered the last legs of the trip, walking through the door and shutting it behind him, falling against it. His breathing had evened out, no longer fast-paced and heavy, but slower and shallower. He was just about to let his eyes fall shut to pull himself back together in the warmth of the house, when Clarke was suddenly hugging him. Bellamy returned the embrace immediately, wrapping his arms around her and pulling her as close as possible. She was still shaking and it felt a bit like he imagined hugging a block of ice would feel, but he was incredibly grateful for the contact. It made him feel less like an ice zombie and more like a real person.
Her hair was damp against his cheek, but he didn't care. Bellamy tried to take in a deep breath, but it hitched in his throat and he couldn't manage it. Still too cold. He held onto Clarke until he heard Lexa shifting and moving. Bellamy clumsily disentangled himself from Clarke, glancing over at the grounder only for his eyebrows to lift toward his hairline when he realized she was taking her clothes off. He watched her in open confusion, a hand still on Clarke's waist for a moment, before he dropped it and stepped back to fall against the door again. He couldn't be bothered to figure out what Lexa was doing. Instead, he looked down at his hands. His normally olive skin was an ashen color. The grounder was talking and he blinked to try and process it. Yeah, a change of clothes would be great right about now.
He had to wait until Clarke had Lexa settled and the two of them were taken care of, though. So Bellamy waited for the girls to sort it out. When the grounder commander offered Clarke her hand in thanks, he couldn't help the small swell of pride that he felt for the blonde. She could pull the best out of anyone. She did it to him. To Anya. To Lexa. There was a reason he'd follow her anywhere she asked him to. Now he just needed her to let him follow her to a change of clothes and a warm bed - well, a chair in his case. Either way, he was just glad to be out of the cold.
