Lexa moved with purpose, ready to get out of the cold and out of the rain and the wind. She was glad Clarke had taken the risk to come to her aid and she was grateful for it. She would be in debt to the leader of the Sky People, but Lexa could accept that with grace. She would return the favor when possible and that would be that. For the most part, Lexa had remained dry, even if she had been cold. The remnants of the fire kept her warmer than Clarke and Bellamy had the luxury of being in the first leg of their rescue attempt. So Lexa moved with greater ease than the other two. She kept her arms tightly folded across her chest as they marched onward, careful to conserve heat and keep it close to her chest, where all the vital organs were.
They reached the house and Lexa followed Clarke instead, stepping over the threshold with more grace than the blonde had been able to manage. Lexa was a survivor, after all, a woman born and bred in nature and away from the safety of the buildings like the one they were currently walking into. She couldn't afford to look too relieved, even if the corner of her mouth may have curved slightly upward into a hint of a smile. She doubted the other two noticed, as they were too busy hugging. Lexa looked them over, but couldn't find it in her to be too annoyed with the emotion the Sky People were always so busy showing. Instead, she just pulled her furs off, slipping them from her shoulders and around her arms and dropping them into the floor. She quickly disrobed until she was barefoot, in pants and a thin shirt that was still mostly dry thanks to the watertight skin of the many furs she always wore.
Lexa took a moment to unceremoniously ring out her damp hair, before returning her attention to Clarke and Bellamy. "The longer you keep your clothes on, the harder it will be to get warm." She glanced in the directions of the bed room, "I assume I will take the same quarters." It wasn't a question. She kept her chin up, confident no matter what, and when she had Clarke's full attention again, Lexa extended her hand to the blonde. "Thank you, Clarke," she offered sincerely.
