"He's not my son. You heard him. He doesn't acknowledge me as his father, so you letting him get under your skin was foolish," he said glaring at the girl. "I told you I consider you my family and that I wanted to adopt you." Klaus smirked a little, "I didn't know we mattered so much to you. You act like we don't matter half the time." It truly warmed Klaus' heart to know that under all her armor she cared so much.
