Who: Lapis Lazuli and Open What: Glitching up When: Wednesday evening Where: Somewhere in town, close to the library. Warnings: TBD Status: Open
Lapis had given up completely on going home. She might have been a stubborn Gem, but she also knew that continuing to be stubborn would have no gain in a situation such as this. Try as she might, she still couldn't fully open herself up to anyone here. Humans, as far as Lapis was concerned, were simpletons at best, and monsters at worst.
"Mirror. You see. You work. What's it like?" she said to herself in a rather strange tone of voice.
"Are you. Blue. Fascinating."
Gems couldn't get sick, per se, but if their gems were damaged then they would start acting oddly. Lapis's glitch, so to speak, was that she kept repeating words, phrases, and splicing them together. Anybody who heard her might think she sounded like a terrible recording.
Pupil-less, mirrored eyes surveyed her surroundings. "Wonder who I used to be. Don't trust them."
They had a high pain tolerance, but even the strongest of Gems could only stand so much pain. Lapis's gem was her true form; the body she presented was simply a construct of sorts. Her true form was cracked, and nearly broken. "Mindless. monster." She sat down on a nearby bench, and let herself cry softly.
