I just realized that may sound a little misleading. What i mean is that she needs to learn to do that. That's what I mean by growing up. I understand that when she did it, she was a young teenager who just does not have that capacity. But part of growing up is also accepting that you (the generic you, not you personally) blew it. That's actually one of the first steps, and it's bugging me that she should be there by now.
