Cokie could barely keep her eyes open. If she got run over by a truck right there in the hallway, she wouldn't have felt any worse than she did right then.
She was on her way to the ice machine, ice bucket in hand, when she ran into Logan. She hadn't talked to him since their date and she had almost forgotten about him.

"It was great," she said, plastering a smile on her face. "Other than the dimwit behind me kicking my chair the entire time." She raised her eyebrow at Logan and smirked. "That wasn't you, was it?"
