Sheila wears sweats
It had been a few days since the party, the one that had seen her heart torn out and stomped on by Marty, and Sheila had spent all weekend in bed. If anyone knew how she felt, it was Casey, Sheila had decided after making her way through three seasons of Greek. The only difference was, Cappie was awesome and Marty sucked.
Sheila still couldn't believe she'd actually told him she was in love with him. She wasn't that kind of girl. Even when she'd dated Austin and Jacques she'd never told them she was in love with them. Not even when she'd dated Marty. And this was why, because telling a guy you're in love with him, and having him not say it back was pretty much the worst feeling in the history of the world.
She rolled on to her other side, and made a reach for another Twizzler. Her summer diet was on hold, why did she even need it? There was no one to look good for. She didn't care if she put on thirty pounds, she never wanted another guy to look at her again. Just as her fingers closed around it, the doorbell rang. She groaned. No one was home, and although Darcy was supposed to come over, she'd texted her earlier telling her not to. Her friend didn't need to see her like this.
She chewed on the twizzler and hit pause on Greek. After a moment of silence she pressed play, only to have the doorbell ring again. Sighing, she threw the blanket covering her off, and made her way downstairs. Out of her room it was boiling, probably because the air conditioning was only on in her room, and she took her sweater off. Reaching the door, she took a breath before looking through the peep hole. If it was Marty, she wouldn't say a word. Luckily it was Darcy. She couldn't help but feel a tiny bit disappointed, even though she wouldn't have answered the door to him anyway.
"S'up," she said, throwing the door open and letting her best friend see her, sweats, bun, no make up and all.
"I told you not to come."
