The girl looked back up at Savage with a narrowed gaze as he laughed. "No! I mean it!" Holang-i said to his 'shitting me' comment as her hand fell to her side. She looked young but had a heart of fire, she made it all the way out here on her lonesome, after all...Still, she had come so far and had yet to seek out help. A part of her didn't really want it, though she was running low on things that she had casually stolen from here and there, and was growing nervous about having to take any more. A part of her also just did not know how to ask for help, or ask for somewhere to stay, though she saw other kids coming and going. She didn't want to go to school with babies; she was sure they were all stupid.
Holang-i was in advanced placement.
"I.." she was cut off and made another face. Her bright eyes sized him up and she gave a nod, but only after bowing down and opening the bag. From it she took out a stuffed rabbit, which she stuffed into her jacket. Just in case. Anything else he could have. It wasn't as if she had much--it was shitty shit. There was a little knife, a sandwich and some nasty bag of chips, a little toothbrush kit and a comb and some other girly kid things, a bottle of water, extra set of clothes. Nothing he could find useful, save for maybe the knife and water and food if he was hungry.
Holang-i then left the bag on the ground and turned to face the tree though she didn't move, looking up at it. How do you start?
