Still, one thing he did not understand was how what could only be assumed as an act of sabotage (or stupidity) within the Ministry of Magic had led to Witches and Wizards from another time popping out of the Department of Mysteries. It rather seemed the kind of incident which would lead to a great deal of bother. Although it may play to their advantage gain some understanding into what Tom Riddle might be planning for the next few years, it was also the case that, unhappily, all the people arriving were not on their side. In fact, there was a strong likelihood that, sooner or later, Tom would be rewarded the same amount of insight into Albus’ own thought process.
Still, there would be plenty of time for jumping to conclusions later. At his moment, Albus Dumbledore – a bright spot of purple robes and silver hair on a gloomy January afternoon - was knocking on the door of the first of several terraced houses tucked away at the back of Hogsmeade VIllage. It was a strange bout of fortune, he pondered as he waited for the door to open, that the recent war had caused families to move away, making room for new arrivals such as this….
