Even in the animal kingdom, the females only give mating and reproduction privileges to the alpha male. Of course the men in such marriages will convince themselves they're civilized, that they're planning for the right time to have kids.
So why get married in the first place if you're not yet ready to have kids, why not remain boyfriend and girlfriend? The main purpose of marriage is procreation. To any foolish man who is in such a situation, ask yourself if your woman was married to a Tony Stark, Captain America or Charlie Stewart, would she not be begging to have kids?

Tony's drones are going around town confiscating and destroying any toys or playthings in town. People with them are given warnings that they are breaking the law and will be arrested if found with the toys again. The drones are also confiscating all Christmas lights, trees, and all holiday paraphernalia

The weather has cleared up. The sun is out but the temperatures have dropped to a familiar autumn chill around 56 degrees. The town is still in ruins but the bodies have been cleared from the streets and while rescue efforts may still be underway, the recovery of the missing and lost population is nearly complete. Left standing are the Hyperion and the Avengers tower along with a few stores, a hospital, a clinic, and apartments scattered here and there and most likely damaged to some degree.

The town is in ruins. The ground is split, there are a small handful of buildings still standing, and most of them are heavily damaged. Much of the town is still on fire, the dead litter the streets, and there are still many missing people trapped under rubble or inside of their shelters. Vecna is dead, the raining fireballs have gone, and from the look of it so are the creatures.
