Press Release
April 30, 2022. Officer Barnes from Stepfurt Police Department responded to the sounds of a child screaming from a shed that he drove by during his patrol. Upon investigation, Officer Barnes discovered that the screams were coming from a young child who was being abused by four self-identified members of the Nazi/HYDRA terrorist organization.
After he arrived on the scene, Officer Barnes surveyed the area to find that there were 3 other children in danger. He delivered 5 shots, 2 fatal and 3 to the kneecaps of the perpetrators who attempted to flee the scene. After releasing the children and calling for an ambulance, Officer Barnes called in for backup. The 3 remaining perpetrators resisted arrest and attempted to overpower the officer, but were noted to be suffering from medical distress from the gunshot wounds. The officer phoned for another 3 ambulance cars while defending himself, but all 3 were pronounced dead upon the ambulance's arrival.
At no point was a knife used in the incident.
Officer Barnes is being placed on a one week paid administrative leave while the Stepfurt Bureau of Criminal Apprehension investigates the incident at the request of Stepfurt Police Department.
No officers were harmed in the incident.
Body cams were worn and activated during the incident.
