Christine loved the grounds at school. She loved the comfort of knowing it was safe to be open about what she was. The seclusion of the school didn't really bother her, but she could see why it would bother some. However, it really was necessary. None of them here could risk the world finding out about who they all were... or they could all become science experiments for the government or anything else just as evil and dangerous. No one would claim her to be a conspiracy theorists, but it was a possibility and not one she wanted to be anywhere near.
Having started at South Peak when she was a sophomore in high school, Christine had certainly spent plenty of time here. She'd considered leaving and going to a university with regular humans, but thought better of it. While she wasn't planning on going on any sort of drinking binges in her lifetime, she did want to be able to enjoy when the desire arose. That meant she needed to learn to control her abilities with time while under the effects of alcohol. What better place to do so than a school to help teach control? The only issue she found with this, was that there weren't many Chronokinetics and she didn't feel right about asking a professor. If no other options became available, then she'd have to ask one, but she'd prefer to keep that as her last resort.
Tonight, however, she wasn't thinking about anything other than relaxing. Christine wasn't particularly known for whimsy or laziness, not that sitting and stargazing was particularly whimsical or lazy. She was just always known to be studying, reading, or getting involved in some sort of social experiment. Bundled up in a heavy jacket and floppy, knit hat, she sat there on the bench near the water and stared up at the beautiful black sky with twinkling stars. They really were rather insignificant in the grand scheme of things when she compared them to the galaxy.
