Wes winced, refusing to explain to Wendy what was going on, knowing that Yoona wasn't going to make that easy. He had meant for her to wait so he could take her out the back quietly, but it seemed Fate wasn't the only thing thumbing its nose at his plans. He exerted what small scrap of authority he had as the oldest brother and left Wendy to sort out the store, hurrying over to her. He swiped Wyatt's pea coat from the hook by the door and headed out after Yoona.
At least, in a little while, they would finally have some answers to a thirteen year old mystery.

They mostly stuck to the standard sort of technology in their store, for appearances, and the family tended to rely on magical items or purchased spells for any more exotic needs.
