Yoona settled in, resting her closed umbrella between her knees. If it bothered her that Wes had stopped talking to her, it didn't show.
At least, not right away.
The silence stretched on as the cab pulled back out into traffic, and Yoona watched out the window while she worried her hands. She picked at her thumbnail, which was already worn down to the quick, and then started picking at the skin around it.
After six blocks, she reached into her pocket, rummaging around until she pulled out a handful of candies, individually wrapped in white paper.
She offered the handful out to Wes after she picked a coin out of the mix.
