WHERE'S MY MERLIN? WHO: JOSIAH AND JAX WHERE: OUTSIDE IN THE COURTYARD WHEN: AFTERNOON
She had fallen into a deep sleep. A sleep so deep that only the strongest and most powerful of magic could break her out of it. But where could anyone such as that be? Was there no prince to deliver her a chaste kiss? Or some powerful wizard to undo the spell? The poor princess was alone, preciously laid upon her bed, waiting for a hero that would never come ...
Joanna opened her eyes. The grass flickered around her as a soft breeze flew by. She frowned instantly and rolled over onto her back. It was sometimes hard to play out an act when there was no other than herself to play with. She really had to start getting friends. Or at least other kids willing to play with her. Sure, at her age it seemed childish but how could anyone not enjoy getting dressed up and playing pretend?
Next, she sat up and looked around. There was no one outside. Lunch had ended and everyone had gone off to their respective classes or whatever it is they were meant to do. Joanna didn't have to meet her teacher for morphing practice for another hour but that meant .... being bored for another hour with no one to play with. Finally, she pushed herself to her feet and started walking back towards the school, hoping to see someone along the way she could play with.
Her long dress swished and swayed as she walked. The flowers in her hair fell out except for one that was stuck in one of her knots. She had grass stains on her knees and the sides of her shoes but she didn't care how she looked. Why bother with that when there was more fun and more important things to worry about? Like trying to find a wizard or a prince to break a spell! Now there was something to worry about!
