She stopped when he took her camera that was hanging loosely around her neck. The fact that he looked interested in it made her have a tugging feeling on her lips. Joey was a sucker when it came to photography, it was her passion. Sure her camera was old, but that’s what she appreciated about it. Her fingers went to her long brown hair placing it neatly over one shoulder, making sure not to pester him as he was looking at her camera. A think smile spread to the corners of her eyes as he said that she was a good photographer, “Thanks” she said in a chipper tone, but then shrugged her shoulders slightly, “but they’re not anything special. Kind of like doodles” she remarked.
“I’m Joey” she smiled extending her hand not too far since his body was slightly close as his hands were still examining her camera. Joey was never uncomfortable with being close to people physically, it seemed almost natural to her that she sometimes forgets that physical closeness can irritate or discomfort some people, “…and uh, sorry again” she quickly added the apology. He was probably exasperated with her silly apologies now.
