The moment someone touched the door knob, Rune was wide awake. His kendo training in Japan had drilled EVER-VIGILANCE into his body, so much so that the slightest of noises awoke him. He remained still, stifling a chuckle when he heard her trip. Even though his eyes were shut, he could follow her movement across the roof, including the moment she noticed him.
Rune was somewhat notorious for being "bad company", and he hoped that the girl (it couldn't be a man, her footsteps were too dainty) would leave him alone long enough to get a few hours of shuteye. When she started taking photos of him, he could barely keep still in his mirth.
Oh, how much the paparazzi would pay for those photos, Rune didn't want to find out. The moment she turned away, he stood up, ready to sneak away from the scene. When she walked right up to the roof edge (on the side with no railing, no less) and started to fall, Rune panicked. Zipping up behind her, he wrapped an arm around her waist and hauled her backwards. His boots slipped a little on the snow as he pulled her back into safety, "Hey, watch it!"
