The fact that she had nothing to do and the fact that she was just an honest curious girl, Joey found herself walking up an unknown stairwell, taking pictures of the dark concrete steps and cobwebs that stood in the corners of the ceiling. On the way, she tripped about oh; two or three times. And with her accident prone disease, that was a record. Then she came upon a door and hesitantly put her dainty fingers on it turning in the old knob and walking out into the roof. Her eyes squinted at the bright light and her hand shaded her eyes while she walked out…tripping as she did.
Walking around slowly, her eyes awed at the mysterious place. She’s never been in this part of the school. Absent-mindedly she started to take pictures of the sky, parts of the roof, and anything her lenses could find. As she was walking, she spotted a sleeping man and squealed softly surprised. She didn’t expect someone else to be up here either, and as rude as this may seemed, he looked so peaceful, so composed, that she just had to start taking pictures. As she finished taking a few, she started walking on the edge of the roof (because she’s an idiot like that) and tripped letting out a shriek.
