Davan actually slept, practically passing out as soon as he closed his eyes, his face in Nik's hair, strands billowing a little with each breath. He didn't sleep for very long though, a few hours, woke up slowly. It took him a moment to come to his senses, as the feeling of someone else there was unfamiliar to him and sent him into a minor panic until he remembered. But when he did he sighed deeply and let himself fall back onto the bed. It had worked, he had slept and he was still cold.
