Alexander had a book tilted up on the desk in front of his face so that he could maintain some sort of privacy where the rest of the library was concerned. He knew nothing about the text itself, except that it had a few sketched pictures on every other page from students who had no doubt been as bored as he currently was when they thumbed through it. However, something promised to break the monotony of his morning when someone seemed to catch his eye and make their way over. Raising an eyebrow in surprise, Alexander couldn't help but be taken aback slightly by someone actually making the effort to walk over and talk to someone else in the library. A rather gutsy move when most people came here for silence and peace -- rather like he had before remembering that that was dull.
"Good morning," Alexander greeted her politely, sitting his book down carefully on the desk on top of one of his piles. He used his foot to push the chair she was lingering above out for her to sit down and straightened once more in his chair. "Be my guest. I wasn't doing anything with that chair. Not many people like to go to the library in the morning."
