Alexander was somewhat disinterested with the work that he had laid out in front of him on the desk. It was a rather lazy day in the library and not many people were about -- most students wouldn't really start turning up until around midday and even then he knew it would only be the students who were trying to get a headstart on the holiday assignments that some teachers had been sadistic enough to set for their classes. This was surprisingly not the case for Alexander who had made his way down to the library during his free period earlier that morning. It had been solely time on his own and space to relax in before he had to head to English. Sure, he could have stayed at home or slept in that morning, but being out of the house made him feel as though he were actually being productive. So that train of thought brought him into the library, settled in a desk at the far right corner of the study area with a pile of books around him. He had made quite the impressive forte of literature, but none of it really kept his attention before he sighed, shut the cover and moved on to the next one. It wasn't hard to see that he was agitated and bored with what he was doing.
Everything about the library was so consistently dull, except for the trickle of people that came and left. Alexander kept an eye on those who went and left, more fascinated in wondering about who they were and what they were doing than his assignments. Straightening in his chair, he caught sight of another person entering through the library doors and he held out hope that something interesting would happen.
