When Remington went racing past her and jumped on his bike Sam muttered something foul under her breath, though it was drowned out by the roar of her bike's engine as she scrambled to catch up with Remington. Really, she should take a look at the engine later, it was making unhealthy noises and didn't seem to be getting along with the cold too well. That, or it was just old, like everything else about the bike, except for the odds and ends that she kept having to replace to keep the thing running.
She took the corner out of the school parking lot dangerously fast, barely missing a huge patch of ice, before racing down the road after Remington as fast as traffic would allow--which was frustratingly slow.
