First, based on the grief-recovery work I have done, I don't believe that recovery from the sort of losses that Anakin and Obi-Wan have suffered could be covered in a single segment, especially a chapter of a similar length to those already written, the longest of which was approximately 1,600 words. Such things take a great amount of time; only the surface could be scratched in something so short.
Also, given that such recoveries are often not active in fast-paced story sense, I don't feel that an additional recovery section would fit with the tone of the rest of the tale, which was in many ways an oogity-boogity story. Better, I think, to indicate that recovery is possible and that it begins with the decision to let it begin, hence Obi-Wan's final line. Anything else would break the cadence of the story.
I hope you don't mind the differing opinion. I do, however, appreciate the critique. This one simply rated many squeals of delight from other readers, and yours was the first comment that made me think. Do you know what I mean?
