SHAY + Open
Thrilled. She was actually thrilled this odd late party was happening. Shay had been at practice the actual Halloween night, and then had to finish an essay which was due the next morning. Who made an essay due the morning after Halloween? Evil teachers. So she hadn't had the chance to go out. Her coach, bless her, and decided the whole team needed to go out and have fun, so had canceled practice and sent the swimmers to the party, on the promise they wouldn't do anything stupid or stay out to all hours.
Most of the girls, at least the ones she was closest too had filed over to her condo to get ready. Shay had decided on what she was calling a waterfairycostume, minus the stupid wand she had got with the dress. Shay had wanted to go into the haunted house, but only one other girl had.
Somehow the two of them had managed to get separated. That was fine, Shay would see her once she got out. As long as she didn't hear the other girl screaming too much from being scared, Shay found the whole thing pretty amusing. The house just wasn't something that scared her, but it made her laugh. The theatrics of it all, and people jumping out in costume trying to scare her.
Rounding one corner, she pulled out a flask - of course she drank, she just wasn't going to get shit faced and die through practice tomorrow. The whiskey burned down her throat, before she tucked the silver container back into her dress. How she was hiding it there she'd never know. Shay continued on her way, jumping a little and then laughing as someone in creepy clown costume came out of no where.
