[09.05.23] domenica Save this space for a big ol' blurb about Dom but in the meantime come say hi and let me love you al over again. 🫶 OKAY so I'm gonna make this super brief since most of her info is in the journal. If you don't know who she is, this is Domenica Vega - former Revenge captain, reformed(ish) space pirate, and just general bad ass even if she's starting to get too old for all that shit. For the better part of the last 18 months or so she's been running across the system to deflect the ADF from her ship after a mission went south. In that, she decided to hang up the boots, so to speak, and attempt at going legit. Or at least maybe she can keep enough of a low profile to stay off the wrong radars. Thus, she'll soon be opening a to-go food window in either Gasworks or Lowtown because if there was one thing she was semi-good at other than crime, it's cooking. More details on that coming soon. For the moment her plan is to hide out at the apartment she shares with her person closehaul while she figures out how to tell her brother (propermotion) and everyone else that she's back. 30 comment

[01.08.23] afflicts hello everyone! i am brand new to the comm and gonna try my best here. i'm hoping to bring in jase, the wayfarer's new head of security. if you're bored (and in desperate need for something to read) then you can find more on him in the journal, but i came with spark notes! he's from a family of shipbuilders from nausikaa, joined the adf military at 18, became special ops in his mid-twenties, got captured on a mission gone sideways by a deranged cult group, was brainwashed to be an assassin for their cause, and eventually got rescued and cleared of influential conditioning after months of rehabilitation...except for the dormant microchip hiding in his brain that can be activated by a trigger phase that only the group knows. because why not make it interesting? he's a blank slate for connections! i'd love any variation of plots, connections, and history if we can be worked into anything! 44 comment

The bio came faster than I thought, so here’s Max Alder, 30 years old, born and raised on a ranch in Mahoroba where he was trying to find some means to get off the planet through music whereas his family wanted him to stick around, have some kids, raise and family and keep up with the ranch life as much of their family does. It wasn’t in the cards for him, but neither was college, so he basically gambled his way to Terminus with a scumbag agent before being left to rot — so to speak; so, since 2655, he’s been living in Lowtown where he works odd jobs during the day so he can play music to the tune of The Horrible Crowes/The Gaslight Anthem (more acoustic and simple bluesy rock n’ roll than not) during the night. Line-wise, there’s a few musicians around that he knows are alive and kick in’ like ~pewpewpew and ~pin. He’s got a karaoke buddy in ~old and friend in ~wetpaints; and, not to be forgotten as the one to bring this boy along, ~checklists is family! Otherwise, he can always use more! 10 comment

[06.30.22] doctored well hello exo! this has taken me way longer to get to than i was hoping but i'm having to ease my way back in so pardon any slowness. and please be gentle! this is lavinia warner though no one actually calls her that. just go with vinny (or dr. warner). she hails from eden, coming from a long line of intellectual-types mainly of the medical persuasion. her future was likely mapped out for her before she was out of diapers and she just went with it accordingly, earning her md at a relatively young age with a sacrifice to any sort of social life. it makes for a slightly awkward turtle, so she's sorry in advance -- but i'm not! for the past year-ish she's been living in lowtown and working at the clinic until securing a position aboard the benevolence more recently. she's got some acquaintances from there including a pal in ellsn and a childhood friend/neighbor in joyride. i'd obviously love to get some more goodies going for her so please love me! 13 comment

[06.13.22] geosync while i sit here and consider a coffee run because 😴, let me introduce holden steiger, former asteroid miner (ore, mostly) and few years old resident of lowtown. he was born and raised among the malm-349g asteroid belt, son of miners who were children of miners who were children of well-to-do, but poor-as-hell residents of belos, and grew up really only knowing that. as such, he followed in their footsteps, worked as a miner from age sixteen and through the expansion war which saw him outfitted with some work-related augments (pain dampener and cybernetic lungs) as production needs went wild. it ended up pushing him to make use of some unsavory connections to get the capital to move his parents and himself to terminus, setting up in lowtown with a nice fat debt to his name. what happens when you get debt? you have to pay it off? shoot... enter a deal: holden steals from smugglers, thieves, etc. and his benefactor gets to turn around and sell the product earned for a bunch of cash, very little of which goes holden's way, but it is supposed to be paying things off which, as one can guess, hasn't been the case. so, naturally, he's back to working his life away, but at least it is something that can be a lot more fun than breaking rocks. he has a few friends around the station (~aced, ~checklists, ~herder, ~botnik), some criminal connections (~harlock, ~pewpewpew), former mining sorts (~fuses), and #disappointeddad ~raybeam who he tried to steal from once and somehow got job opportunities, but greedy is as greedy does and i'm greedy for more! fellow dockhands and miners, poker buddies, drinking buddies and friends of all sorts, neighbors in lowtown, t-sec officers to bother and evade, smugglers and thieves he's stolen from, fences he sells to, fellow brawlers / fighters in lowtown, exes/flings - whatever! 11 comment

[04.13.22] gearshaft hey folks! i've had my eye on this place for a long while now and a muse finally approached, so here i am... bringing you jack riley saunders who suffers from amnesia and can only remember that he goes by jax. i'll figure out the accident that took his memory eventually, but for now-- looking for an ex (of any gender) who knew him in the past and is enjoying this new, more docile side to a once rowdy bar fighter and all-around miscreant. details of their breakup are up for plotting, but he's available for everything else. works as a freelance mechanic and won't take a full time job to save his life. bounces around and works on any ship he can get his hands on and has definitely broken into to work on ships he can't legally touch without permission. very new to this idea but am loving what i see so far, lemme know what he can do for you! 91 comment

[04.13.22] eyepiece hi all! looking to bring hoyeon as the revenge's glf informant. she was born & raised on nibiru and her parents were directly involved in the war when she was a teen. she is very loyal to the glf. i would love to have a potential cousin line, where maybe her parents even betrayed the rest of them for fighting for what they believed was "right." could be interesting if higher up in their lineage they had members who were part of the independents but, following defeat, put that ideology far behind them. outside of that, it'd be great to develop lines with others who grew up on or lived on nibiru and anyone who's glf-affiliated. she's still a fairly blank slate but hoping to get more pieces together so she can be fully fleshed out. thank you! 43 comment

i'm not crying, you're crying! [03.26.22] celestials heyo exo! i'm going to try not to make this super long-winded but i'm sliding on in here to leave you all with a little piece of me as a share my soul. as most of you know, i'm expecting a baby on may 3rd. this is coming 2 weeks sooner than my expected due date so we're about at crunch time to get everything done. with this new chapter in my life set to begin, i only think it's right that i take a teeny step back from rp for the time being. despite currently being super burnt out (which i apologize for), tired, uncomfortable, and just a blob in general, i'm actually really sad to go. i've been here for three years which makes it the longest i've ever been in a game consistently and with the same character (first anya here, then domenica to follow). i can't possibly say enough AMAZING things about the game, the players, and the mod team that holds everything together. literally the BEST group i've ever had the pleasure of playing with on this server. this game truly is something special. with that said, there's definitely a possibility that i could be back! because of that, i wanted to take a moment and sort of summarize what's going to be happening with dom and anya in the meantime. especially since the revenge will live on in her stead. click right on this way... [03.22.22] anatomic Hi! I’m going to apply with this gent here once I get the particulars in order. I would love to work out some connections for him as he’s a bit of a blank slate. His main bio is still a work in progress, as I wanted to see if anything stuck connection wise before I write it up. Here are the basics: Hollis Curran - Chief Medic on the Endeavor, 37 years old (a Christmas baby!), Captain in the Navy, honorably discharged with a reputation of having the neatest sutures this side of the system. He comes from a lower to middle class family from Mahoroba, so it was very obviously a Big Deal that 1. The ADF took him, 2. Churned out a respectable human being, and 3. Gave him the means to be successful. He wishes he could be a veterinarian though (on the down low…) and has a pet holo-cat called Dave he inherited from an old navy buddy that assured him it was in like new condition. The fact that occasionally Dave’s front half carries on while his back half glitches in place has grown on Hollis and he doesn’t have the heart to repair it. Mainly, Hollis is overly eager and just happy to be involved, and would rather solve everybody else’s problems than his own. Definitely open to new and old friends from home or from the service, exes, frienemies, actual enemies, the person from his favorite haunt that knows his order so well they think something is terribly wrong when he decides to be adventurous and order something else for once, etc! 24 comment

[03.16.22] glitchy hello from the grave! bea was around briefly last year and after a few tweaks to her history, i'm bringing her back around! there's a full bio here, but she's younger sister to theophil, from antillia who found herself on terminus working as an infiltrator. she was involved in a messy mission a few years ago and stuck on desk duty and is slowly dipping her toes back into the work and is also serving as the gunner on the dauntless. she's a tough nut to crack, her general resting place is a little aloof and serious but she knows how to turn on the charm and at least give the appearance that she's having a good time when it's called for - she's just always got one eye on the door or over her shoulder just in case. her work takes priority (almost) always, the single exception being her brother, but she's not one to take her responsibilities lightly, the botched mission haunts her still and she's hopeful to never have a repeat. would love any connections with other infiltrators, anyone who she might've trained with in the adf before being plucked for the infiltrator track, anyone she might've had run-ins with on the other side of the war and crewmates would be loved for plotting and friendship! (or enemy-ship?) also, if anyone is in need of a neighbor, i had her in gasworks last time around but open to elsewhere, too! 22 comment

[03.11.22] armoury hello! i gave her a rework since the last time we talked. she's still security on the benevolence. she grew up in eden and was mostly a wild child. she spent her career in the adf providing security and various whatnots on medical transports during the war. she became an impromptu nurse on many occasions. she may have patched you up. the war left her with some injuries. she eventually retired as a training instructor and followed her older bro to terminus to jump start a private security firm. because she gets easily bored when she's not working, she also works part time at the full range. as a former instructor, she is very helpful when it comes to weaponry or getting your ass in shape. she's patient and all business. off hours she's a bit of a rough-houser, having to defend herself plenty of times against her brothers (it was all in fun and love - they're all very close). she's practical and probably a little too abrasive for her own good but it all comes from good intentions. she's pretty open to any new or old connections, war buddies, childhood friends, messy ex. maybe she told you firing ranges weren't your thing. she enjoys a good drink and some dancing. connections with co-workers? anything really. 24 comment

HELLO, this is cressia vaine a 30 year old human lady from scheria. her parents worked for xenocorp. she grew up with her face in a book for most of her life. fast forward to going to medical school, going some non-profit work in antilla before spending a lot of time on babylon where she gained a bit of a reputation for being a little on the bossy and brash side of life. really she just wanted to be taken seriously and sooo she said and did what she had to do. eventually she ended up in terminus for the last few years before getting hired to work on the dauntless. she knows build, and incommunicado and spends a lot of energy keeping them alive. she's not really the relationship type due to the fact that she works non-stop, but she loves a good drink at the bar and keeps her dancing feet ready to jive. i'd love some more connections for her! friends, other medical professionals she maybe went to school/training with, exes of either gender but for a relationships she's got a preference for women. maybe a roommate back on terminus in gasworks area, neighbors, other dauntless crew, lets have fun! 30 comment

[02.03.22] matkala I’m going to do this before I bio write because my brain is turning to scrambled geggs eggs and I’m hoping it’ll jump off the wordsmithing. This is Ira’Klydis Ry’keran Aetos – but really, just call him Ryker – from the Asali Region of Fissa and current Terminus Security Corporal which means, yes, he can supervise and sometimes, he can be the Sergeant, but most the time, he wants the freedom to actually have foot to Terminus pavement when needed. He’s 36, born into Clan Aranyaka which is particularly known for their survivalism and attunement with nature on top of all those fun things Finu are known for like being taller than you, tattooed badasses with their own fighting style, and has (or had… the details are iffy) a wife and kid back home that he hasn’t seen since popping through the Gateway on diplomatic missions once it opened. Given a few years to stay within familiar circles and get some Penglai-based training and he joined T-Sec, rising up ranks, so on and so forth, and becoming the ranked officer he is today. tl;dr he’s tall, quiet and enjoys being out in nature and while he is happy to play diplomatic most of the time, gentle giant he is, he will hit someone if he has to. Currently, he has a connection to runaway prince dishonor as Cat is from a clan his own is allied with… and that is all! He can use everything – other T-Sec officers and law enforcement types, fellow aliens to commiserate with even if you’re not a Finu, mat-kala trainees and sparring buddies, Gasworks neighbors, friends, foes and crooks he has busted (and quite a few he hasn’t), exes even though he’s so terribly married to the job (and may still actually be married back home until I figure that out, whoops~). [01.22.22] ebonblade hello! i've been checking out this community for a while now, so i thought i'd finally take the plunge and apply this guy right here once i have all his information together. this is orion thallios. he's 45 years old and originally from nibiru before he finally found himself a way off of that rock and found himself in babylon at nineteen years old. with no real other options in mind and short of credits, orion found joined up with the alliance defense force and being placed within the alliance army where he spent a huge chunk of his life doing just that while attempting to live a somewhat normal life after a not so normal upbringing. i currently have plans for him to join a ship potentially at this stage, but other then that, he's a normal human with nothing too special about him except that he made himself and who he is as a person now, choosing to leave a life a crime like his family chose to stay in and wanted more for himself. orion is really jovial with a starlord-esque type personality with never taking anything too serious with the exception of his work and actual serious moments but he's the type of guy to crack jokes, throw one liners here and there while considering himself as someone really capable. behind his stupid façade though, he's a protective guy who'd do anything to protect the people he cares about or works with, even if it's outside of his own comfort zone. so, in saying that vague character piece for orion here, i'd love to throw him out there for any lines or associations or anything else as i'm sure he's met plenty of people along the way. if the ship plans fall through, i had an idea to make him a peacekeeper but i'm playing that by ear right now. 17 comment
