Who: Laurel and Oliver
What: Discussing Batman, among other things.
When: March 27th, evening
Where: The Foundry
Rating/Warnings: Likely none.
Laurel had put off talking to Oliver about Bruce and about her own new night-time hobbies. She figured that he needed time to get used to being back and time to deal with the changes that had been made to the team in his absence. She finally got to the point where she couldn't put it off any longer. So she headed down to the Foundry, hoping to catch Oliver alone before he went out for the night.
"Oliver?" she called out. When she spotted the former vigilante, she tried not to grimace. She didn't anticipate this conversation going well. "I need to talk to you about something."
She wasn't sure if Felicity or Diggle had mentioned Batman already, or mentioned that she was running around as the Black Canary. She already knew that Oliver wouldn't tolerate someone he didn't know fighting crime in what he saw as 'his' city, even if that person was helping. And he'd made it pretty clear that he didn't want her getting into this life back when she'd been training with Ted. She didn't need his approval to continue, but she wanted peace between two of the vigilantes in her life. She thought that Oliver and Bruce could be assets to each other, if they could get past the mistrust of each other that was sure to be there.
