Who: Bruce, Laurel, Jason, and the Joker When: 2/10 Where: Gotham Docks What: A showdown Warnings: Violence, possible language Bruce had bided his time for a few days. He’d waited Jason out, knowing the turn this was going to take. When it finally did, he’d made quick work of most of Arkham’s escapees. That had been a very busy night for Bruce and Laurel, and in the morning, all but two were back where they belonged. One, Waylon Jones, had been put down for good by Jason. The Joker vanished with the Hood.
Bruce had to wonder, after, how Laurel had taken to seeing the heavily-modified man who called himself Killer Croc die so brutally. Jason was ruthless, efficient, and had no mercy. He’d made that clear, and Croc was just a show of force, another move on the chessboard. When this all came to a head, one of the two kings would fall. It was going to end tonight.
He said nothing as he steeled himself, getting the suit and the gear ready. He didn’t want Laurel involved in this, but it seemed he didn’t have a choice. Jason had rounded up a gang of hired guns who called themselves The Outlaws, and had made quick work of every other gang in the docks area. He’d need her help to get close.
“It’s all over after this.” He promised her as he suited up that night. “Once we’re done saving my city, we can save yours.”
