Alex thought the dinner was a good idea. There were a lot of people here, and for the most part, they tended to stick with people they knew. There wasn't a whole lot of mingling going on, at least not as far as Alex knew. It was a shame because they were all stuck there, and getting to know one another could be important. It didn't seem like they'd be leaving any time soon.
She'd been more than happy to help Laurel and some of the other girls set this up. The Queens had been so gracious to allow everyone to stay in the hotel, and try and look after them. Alex just wished that she could help more. No one even seemed to have an ETA on when it would all be resolved, either. She knew there was a lot of pressure on the people in this city, and it wasn't fair. Alex could understand that.
She grabbed a slice of pizza, glancing around the room a bit to see who had shown up. Pizza was a good choice to feed so many people quickly. And maybe people would interact a bit more, here. Alex knew she should make more of an effort of that, herself. But it wasn't always so easy.
