She twisted, staring at him for a moment, before taking the ring. She said nothing as she walked to her other desk (the one not consumed by a robot), pulling her jewelers loupe out of a drawer, studying each emerald and diamond that made up the question mark before looking up at him.
"I guess this is satisfactory," the jewel thief said, a small, happy smirk on her lips before she slid the ring onto her hand, wiggling it to test the reflection of the light.
