Diana wasn't sure why Adam was so concerned. It was probably that he'd randomly ended up here, but she felt like it might be more than that. She didn't know for sure, and wouldn't until she talked to him. She was used to being here now, having been here for months. It didn't seem like it would change any time.
And yet, Adam was right to worry. This place was insane. And terrible things happened here, even worse than in Chance Harbor. All of the bombs and such lately had made Diana wary about going out. Then again, the bombers next target could be the hotel. One just never knew.
She stepped off the elevator, meeting Adam in the lobby. She supposed she'd have to let Faye know later that he was here. But for now, she was going to try and explain to Adam what was going on here, as best she could. The city was devastated, and it didn't feel like anywhere was safe anymore.
