He could turn on the attitude all he wanted, Leon was like the rubber in that old phrase. It just bounced off and rarely ever bothered him--less you call him fat. But then he would just get angry and pop you one. He was rather proud of his weight. He was not obese. He was healthy, despite being a little bit overweight. Strong. Rotund.
Blinking, looking a little hurt but mostly faking it, the Caitian put a hand over his heart. "Sorry, Reon. Sorry." He'd have to come up with something else, of course, though he would probably always call him "Ray" no matter what he said. He'd just have to get used to it.
Waving a hand but nodding, Leon took a step back. "Aye! I'll let ya know when I'm in place. Just hang tight. No one is going to get hurt, Slick." Grinning, he scurried away before Reon could say anything else. Tail swinging behind him, he wondered why that guy was so uptight. Well, they were in a dangerous situation and were under attack. Maybe something was wrong with Leon, since he had yet to panic. But oh, he knew the time would come. It always did.
